Is BlackBox free?
Yes. The free plan covers up to 2 vehicles and includes fuel logging, service history, mods, trip tracking, and the rest of the core features. Pro adds multi-device sync, raises the vehicle limit to 20, and unlocks auto trip detection, driving score, the top-15 cheapest UK fuel finder within ~100 mi of you, offline maps, and more, for £2.99 a month or £24.99 a year with a 14-day free trial.
Does BlackBox work outside the UK?
Yes. Currency, fuel volume (litres or gallons) and distance (miles or kilometres) are all configurable. UK users additionally get DVLA plate lookup to auto-fill make, model, MOT and tax dates.
Is there an iPhone version?
An iOS build is in progress. Right now the app is available on Android via Google Play.
Where is my data stored?
By default, all your data lives locally on your device. Pro users can opt in to encrypted cloud sync so the same data appears on every device they sign in on.
Can I export my data?
Yes. You can export your full vehicle history at any time. There are no ads, no third-party trackers, and you own your data.
